What is TPEC ?
TPEC stands for Television Publicity Executives Committee.
TPEC is a nonprofit industry trade organization for senior-level publicity executives who represent original, programing seen on networks and streaming services and serves as a forum for the discussion of publicity-related matters common to entertainment executives. We offer event programming for our membership which allows for networking and insight to industry trends.
As our industry evolves, so does the TPEC membership. We welcome publicity executives from studios, networks, streaming services and agencies.
Events
TPEC produces a series of members-only events that foster discussion, learning, and leadership around important issues facing publicists today. We continue to offer a series of virtual events to keep our members informed.
TPEConnect
We are committed to strengthening the television publicity community. TPEC is launching a new initiative to increase networking opportunities and help members navigate the evolving landscape of programming publicity careers. From internships to full time positions, we plan on sharing opportunities offered by our members.
TPEC Guide
TPEC produces this annual Guide to encourage positive working relationships between publicists and the media.
The essential reference directory is used daily by publicists at broadcast and cable networks, studios, and public relations firms, as well as by independent publicists.
